, an award-winning landscape architecture, design and construction firm is seeking a full-time and/or part time professional landscape CADD designer and estimator.
To qualify, candidates must have formal training and a minimum of 3 years of CADD design experience in the design of hardscapes, water features, lighting and plantings.
CADD design capabilities in AutoCAD or Dynascape are required.
Must have proper understanding of and experience in project construction estimation.
Requirments:
Minimum 3 years of relevant CADD experience Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity takeoff and estimating.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Dynascape or similar CADD software Proficient in MS office, word and excel applications The job includes but not limited to:
Preparation of landscape designs in CADD, including all elements in landscape design, pools, ponds, outdoor living spaces, lighting, plantings, etc.
Develop existing conditions base sheet in CADD, drafting a concept design or final design based on designs from lead designers.
Develop grading and drainage details, tying in new features with current ones, designing it to scale.
Final drawings will be very detailed including specification, contract scope, and construction details.
Prepare plat exhibits for permit applications.
Perform construction take off and perform cost estimation of proposed work.
Prepare proposal including scope and fee estimate The ability to communicate well both with clients and other types of workers (contractors, supervisors, etc.
) on the landscaping team.
We are looking for a strong creative talent and motivated self-starter who is capable of working independently.
