OB Women and Children Nursing Manager

Seeking a Manager of Nursing Operations to oversee the Obstetrics department in a Critical Access Hospital Also affiliated with several other hospitals/outpatient sites in the area Within this health system, there has been a recent commitment to grow the Obstetric program.
As part of that commitment they are planning now for an addition onto the current facility.
This includes replacing and adding a new OB unit.
It is located just outside of the Washington DC and Loudan County, Virgina metropolitan areas, so you have easy access to some larger metropolitan areas without being in the thick of things.
Additional details:
This unit currently has 3 LDR rooms and 4 Postpartum rooms.
It has a staff of 10 Registered Nurses, and 3 OB techs.
In addition, there is a.
5 FTE Clinical Coordinator to assist with orientation and education on this unit.
Two OB-GYN physicians and 3 family practice physicians as well as an OB fellow provide services within this unit.
Since we are part of a Rural Residency one will find residents also rotating through this unit.
Qualifications:
Looking for a nurse who not only has OB nursing experience, but also some management experience, and up for a new challenge to grow an OB program! This nurse needs to be familiar with ACOG guidelines and Levels of Maternal Care as well as AWHONN guidelines for Professional Registered Nurse Staffing for Perinatal Units.
