Park Manager/Program Manager (Superintendent)

As the Program Manager you will:
Direct operations at the Stephen T. Mather Training Center with increasing focus toward consultation service and strategic account management with wide use of learning technologies and performance support tools. Serve as advisor to the Chief of Learning and Development and senior leadership in the Workforce and Inclusion Directorate in service to National Park Service leadership, key stakeholders and employees across the service. Liaison and fosters professional relationships with local community, area NPS superintendents, USFWS National Conservation training Center, stakeholders and subject matter experts. Plan and implement a holistic learning and performance program, evaluates priorities and needs, sets program direction, redefines staff roles and functions, and approves and monitors program. Oversee the general planning, support and supervision of the training managers and teams. Present written and oral presentations to individuals and groups at all levels within the National Park Service and to external partners and organizations on behalf of Stephen T. Mather Training Center, Learning & Development and the National Park Service. Plan, establish and direct work related to overall management and operation of the training and development programs and other assigned programs and projects, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Manage Center facilities. To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, you must possess all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include:
expertise in Training Program Management, managing people, budget, needs analysis, program execution and demonstration of value and results. Demonstrated expert knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design practices, and the associated principles, techniques, and objectives of adult education as demonstrated by the ability to apply adult learning principles and evaluation techniques to real-world learning needs in the workplace. Knowledge used to create or direct the development of a broad range of informal learning solutions and products - job aides, social learning, micro-learning, online activities, and other distributable learning that can be introduced directly into the workflow. Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as varies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
