Maintenance Mechanic Leader

Provides daily direction to at least three workers to accomplish trades work on a regular and recurring part of the job and exercised on a substantially full time and continuing basis. Matches or creates exact reproductions of various components of historic buildings and fixtures. Plans, computes and lays out projects and identifies material needs. Works from complex instructions, blue prints, sketches and building codes. Performs maintenance, repair, restoration and stabilization of cultural resources. Utilizes journeyman knowledge and skills in multiple trades and crafts (Carpentry, Plumbing, Masonry, Electrical, Water Quality). Plans materials, tools, and techniques needed and completes work with little or no advice or guidance Make a wide variety of measurements and conversions of area and volume using an army of measuring instruments for determining quantities of supplies and materials for projects and for completing projects. Responsible for detailed layout, selection of tools and materials and for accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards. Uses tools and equipment associated with the areas of responsibility. May operate engineering equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, not oil distributors, road brooms, street sweepers, asphalt lay down machines, etc. Selects materials to be used in a variety of facilities construction, maintenance and repair work. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability To Lead Or Supervise (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprinting reading) Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
