Positions are subject to Employee Rotation Policy Directive #51335-013. This position starts at a salary of $102,663.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $133,465.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $133,465.00 (GS-13 Step 10). Typical duties include:
Planning and developing training curriculum and course material and delivering instruction on a variety of subjects and facilitating all aspects of training delivery for basic, advanced, and/or continuing education; Instructing, supervising and evaluating students enrolled in basic, advanced and/or specialized resident and non-resident training programs; Providing technical advice and guidance, researching, analyzing and assembling/creating policy and procedure documents to demonstrate compliance to training standards and the accreditation process; Overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating overall educational program activities and implementation of basic department-wide guidelines; and Performing long-range planning and management of new substantive training programs. Experience:
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Directing operational programs and their appropriate support functions or direct national and local policy or programs; Applying U.S. Customs and Border Protection laws, regulations, instructions, and procedures pertaining to border security and law enforcement procedures; Assisting advising, and instructing employees in their work and resolve difficult problems requiring coordination with other operating units Language Requirement:
Must be proficient in the Spanish language. (i.e., able to speak and read in Spanish). Firearms Requirement:
You will be required to carry a firearm while on duty. Anyone who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence cannot lawfully possess a firearm or ammunition (Title 18, U.S.C. Section 922 (g) (9)). Candidates will be required to certify whether they have ever been convicted of such an offense. Physical and Medical Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
